The perfect blend of whiskey and history. Start off your Sunday by taking a peek into Fell’s Point’s newest hotel, the Sagamore Pendry. The hotel is a historic renovation of the old Rec Pier, with nods to Baltimore’s history and art throughout. Make sure to check out the Botero statue in the open air courtyard. The concierge will lead you to the hotel’s private dock for a calm 35-minute morning boat ride across the harbor. You’ll pass around Fort McHenry and on to the Port Covington peninsula. Hop off and take a tour of the new Sagamore Spirit Distillery, complete with whiskey tasting and a chocolate surprise. For brunch, walk next door to Rye Street Tavern for fried chicken and a raw bar, or hop back on the boat to grab an Italian lunch at the Pendry’s Rec Pier Chophouse.
This ride is available every Sunday through September 8th. Boats leave the Pendry at 10:00am, 12:00pm, and 2:00pm. Boats leave the Sagamore Spirit Distillery at 11:15am, 1:15pm, and 3:15pm. Please book your Sagamore Spirit tour and any brunch reservations ahead of time. Round trip tickets are $16 and can be purchased here. These tickets do not include the price of a Distillery tour or food at Rye Street Tavern.
Not traveling on a Sunday? No fear – Port Covington is accessible by private charter throughout the rest of the week. For more information, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
